Campoamor/Orihuela Beach La Glea Beach (Dehesa de campoamor)

 

 

Is quite a lot bigger than La Zenia and not so crowded due to its size. It is also cleaned daily even during the winter period but sometimes there is a lot of seaweed that washes on the shore.

 

It has a number of restaurants nearby and one beach bar during the summer also in the summer Las Colinas beach club is open which is one of the most beautiful bars around the Orihuela Costa it offers sunbed an infinity pool. and even opens a restaurant in the Summer which offers Sushi.

 

Jetskis and Pedalos are available in the summer season and Sunbeds are available from the easter holidays.

 

Punta Prima is about 234 metes and has elevator access which ensures good access for the disabled

 

Cala Mosca is near the Playa Flamenca Residential Area and is a small beach

 

Cala De Las Estaces is also near Playa Flamenca is popular due to its bars, shops and restaurants.

 

Cabo Roig has a Marina which is the biggest in the Orihuela Costa it also has a bar and a restaurant. and has over more than 200 mooring places.

 

 

Orihuela Costa

 

Orihuela Costa is a suburb of Orihuela , and has some beautiful beaches which stretches over 16 km. In the summer the beaches of Orihuela Costa can be very busy due to the lovely sea temperature up to 25 degrees. But also in the Winter a day to the beach in a Shirt is still perfectly possible. During the low season its lovely to walk from Campoamor to Torrevieja and back while enjoying the sun.

 

During Christmas day people come to the beach dressed as Santa Claus and start a BBQ on the beach.

On NewYear day the beaches are crowded with Spanish people going for a walk.

 

Since the opening of La Zenia Boulevard Orihuela Costa has been busier than usual.

 

Every Beach of Orihuela Costa is certified with its Blue Flag which stands for the clearest water and properly maintained Beaches. With over 14 beaches it offers a wide range of choice.

The best known urbanization is La Zenia ,Playa Flamenca, Los Dolses, Villamartin, Campoamor and Cabo Roig.

La Zenia Beach also known as Cala Bosque

 

 

The beach of la Zenia is smaller, but has more of a cozy feeling. it’s the most famous beach of Orihuela Costa. It is easy reached by following the N332 till the roundabout for the Zenia Boulevard and turning in the direction of the beach.

 

The beach is cleaned daily and has a blue flag. It’s also the start of a Beach Promenade which leads to Cabo Roig and beyond. The Beach has some excellent spots to go snorkeling. It also has a Childrens play area.

 

Starting from the easter holiday you can also rent a sunbed and sunshade to relax and in the summer season jet skis and pedalos are available. In summer season there is one Beach Bar which also offers a small range of foods like Pizza and Sandwiches. There is also a restaurant called La mirada which offers a wide range of food from Spanish food till Pizzas.
